Refund Policy

Short version: all sales are final.

All purchases made through Author Direct are final and non-refundable. By completing a purchase, you acknowledge and agree that no refunds, returns, or exchanges will be issued. This policy applies to all digital content sold on the Platform regardless of format, price, or reason for the request.

Books are digital goods delivered to your library immediately on purchase. Because the content is available to you the moment the sale completes, we cannot offer refunds.

Buy with confidence

We want you to be sure before you buy. Each book’s product page includes a description, details, and — where the author provides one — preview or sample content. We encourage you to review everything available before completing a purchase.

Processing fees

Credit-card processing fees are shown as a separate, transparent line item at checkout. These fees are charged by our payment processor and are likewise non-refundable.

Something wrong with your purchase?

If a book fails to download or open, or you believe you were charged in error, contact us at support@author-direct-books.com and we’ll make it right. This policy does not limit any rights you may have under applicable law.
